AAC Decoder for 22.2 Channels

Product Overview

AAC is an international standard for lossy compression audio codecs, widely used as a distribution format for music data and a digital broadcast audio format. The audio of ARIB advanced BS digital broadcasting is required to support up to 22.2 channels, which is four times as many channels as before.

This product is a software IP that enables 22.2ch decoding processing with low power consumption operation and low memory consumption.

Model Number

  • TM13736

Features

  • Low power consumption operation by reduction of arithmetic processing with TMC’s original algorithm “DMNA”.
  • Can be implemented in various processors including ARM.
  • Easy to embed by simple API interface, contributing to shortening the development period.
  • Thread-safe library, simultaneous decoding of multiple streams (eg: 22.2ch, 5.1ch, and 2ch).
