TMC has developed and commercialized a software IP for high-speed version H.264/AVC video main profile encoder software, which is compliant to H.264/AVC (a highly efficient image compression standard standardized in ISO/IEC 14496-10).
Compared to conventional MPEG4, this IP achieves a higher compression ratio and is suitable for use at low bit rates applications, such as video encoding on PC and video distribution services to smartphones and tablets.
This IP achieves the high image quality and high speed that satisfies terrestrial digital TV broadcasting standards.
