H.264/AVC Main Profile Encoder High-Speed Version
Product Overview
- TMC has developed and commercialized a software IP for high-speed version H.264/AVC video main profile encoder software, which is compliant to H.264/AVC (a highly efficient image compression standard standardized in ISO/IEC 14496-10).
- Compared to conventional MPEG4, this IP achieves a higher compression ratio and is suitable for use at low bit rates applications, such as video encoding on PC and video distribution services to smartphones and tablets.
- This IP achieves the high image quality and high speed that satisfies terrestrial digital TV broadcasting standards.
Features
- Using TMC original computer algorithm DMNA, high image quality, high speed, small size, and low power consumption can be achieved.
- Optimized for ARM Cortex-A series.
- Because of simple API function, it is possible to reduce the porting period into applications.
